Version 0.6.0 is out — a major update focused on mobile navigation and interface improvements. Here's what changed:
📱 Mobile Navigation
Completely redesigned navigation: hamburger menu, sliding drawer, bottom nav bar. Safe-area insets for notch devices. The bottom bar keeps key sections always within reach on mobile.
🧭 Bottom Navigation
A persistent bottom bar on mobile gives one-tap access to Profile, Children, Messages and More. Active tab stays highlighted, switching between sections is instant.
👩🏫 Compact Teacher Panel
The educator panel is now fully mobile-friendly: compact child cards, streamlined observation entry, and a quick group switcher. All functionality preserved on small screens.
📇 Director Panel Cards
Summary cards for key metrics replace dense tables in the Director Panel. Combined with the chart type switcher and filtered risk table, directors get a clearer overview.
📄 Pagination
All list views (children, observations, messages) now have pagination. Configurable items per page makes navigation through large datasets smooth.
✅ Validation & Consistency
Forms now highlight required fields, show inline error messages, and validate schema consistency before saving. This prevents data entry mistakes and sync issues.
🔄 Sync Improvements
Offline sync is more reliable with better conflict detection and error handling. Users receive clearer feedback about sync status.
