ARCH-RST 0.5.0: 6 Themes, Toast Notifications & Access Management

We are excited to release ARCH-RST 0.5.0 — a major update focused on user experience, customization and access control. Here's what's new:

🎨 6 Color Themes

We've added two new themes — Amber and Plum — bringing the total to 6. Now you can also enable Auto Theme to follow your system's dark/light mode. Font size (Small/Normal/Large) and Animation toggle give you full control over how the app looks and feels.

🔔 Toast Notifications

All old-school alert() dialogs are gone. Replaced with beautiful toast notifications that slide in from the top. Success, error, warning and info messages with auto-dismiss, click-to-close and keyboard navigation. The app feels much more polished.

🔐 Registration Codes

Directors can now manage two separate registration codes — one for directors, one for educators. Displayed in the Director Panel with one-click copy. Server-side verification ensures only authorized users can register. This makes onboarding much more secure and organized.

🔑 Sessions & Remember Me

We introduced token-based sessions. Check "Remember Me" on login and the app will keep you signed in even after closing. Sessions expire after 7 days. Combined with better error handling, login is now smoother and more reliable.

⚡ Performance Boost

Intelligent data caching reduces load times. Frequently accessed data is stored locally with smart expiration. A new splash screen greets you on startup with an animated progress bar, and a full-screen loading overlay appears during operations. Gallery images load faster with batch processing.

📊 Director Panel Upgrades

Charts now support three visualization types: Bar, Line and Doughnut — switch between them with one click. At-risk children table with profile drill-down and an audit log modal showing the last 100 actions across the system.

📝 Educator Improvements

Educators can now delete observations (with access control). Press F5 to refresh dashboard data instantly. Panel animations and focus trapping in modals make navigation smoother and more accessible.
